UPDATED on 12/23/17 – We set out on Saturday night to see the Christmas lights in the neighborhood of Pecan Grove. What we saw was truly amazing! First, a little history on Pecan Grove…
Pecan Grove is a community with over 2100 homes located in Fort Bend County. It got it’s name from all the pecan trees growing in the area. Pecan Grove was started back in 1973 when Bruce Belin and Associates purchased approx. 1450 acres. The population has grown to about 13,000 residents who work in Houston and surrounding areas. There’s a beautiful country club and golf course running through the neighborhood.
Back to the holiday lights… As we drove up and down the streets, we saw some spectacular displays of Christmas decorations, lights, inflatables, and yard ornaments. We were even passed by several trucks giving hay ride tours to folks through the neighborhood. If you are looking for a neighborhood to bring the kids and or out of town guests to see holiday spirit, Pecan Grove is a top choice in Fort Bend County.
