Holiday Dance Showcase

When: Saturday, December 8, 11am-4pm
What: Enjoy a holiday dance showcase by local dance companies that features beautiful ballerinas, colorful costumes and festive fun.
Where: Sugar Land Town Square, Sugar Land TX


Winter Blast

When: Saturday, December 8, 10am-2pm
What: Residents are invited to come and play in the artificial “snow.” Ninety thousand pounds of shaved ice will be blown in for kids of all ages to enjoy. Activities will include sledding, two play areas for toddlers and older kids, inflatables, face painters, music and a rock wall. Take a holiday picture in a life-sized snow globe! We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys at the event for those that would like to donate to Santa’s Exchange/ Toys For Tots. The event is free, and food will be available for purchase.

Sugar Land – Cookies With Santa

When: Saturday, December 8, 10am-12pm
What: At our family-friendly Jingle Tree event, this is your chance to catch Santa and Mrs. Claus during their holiday visit to the museum. Holiday Movie Under The Moon

When: Saturday, December 8, 7pm-9pm
What: It’s a holiday tradition! Bring your family, friends and lawn chairs to the Plaza to enjoy a free Movie Under the Moon, sponsored by First Colony Church of Christ. This month’s movie is holiday favorite, “Elf,” and there just might be a “real” one in attendance passing out candy canes.

Rosenberg Christmas Nights

When: Fri, Dec 7, 6pm-10pm and Sat, Dec 8, 3pm-9pm
What: Rosenberg Christmas Nights is our free annual holiday celebration in Historic Downtown Rosenberg! The event is free to attend, and parking is also free. Enjoy our downtown, cultural arts, vendors, children’s activities and live performances to celebrate the season. Friday will include the tree lighting, Santa selfies, ice skating and a snow slide. Saturday will include free Santa pictures, ice skating, a snow slide, music performances, food and craft vendors, a trackless train ride and downtown shopping.

Cowboy Christmas – Downtown Rosenberg

When: Friday, December 7, 6pm-10pm
What: Join us at the 2nd Annual Cowboy Christmas by Larry Callies in Downtown Rosenberg! Entry to the museum and live music will be free, but donations are very helpful for our efforts. Cowboy chili, cowboy coffee, hot cocoa, and even a picture with Watusi will be available for purchase.

Infusion 2018 “A Magical Bollywood Christmas Spectacular”

When: Saturday, December 8, 5:30pm-8:30pm
What: Infused Performing Arts Bollywood Dance School & Dance Co. presents the 8th annual production: Infusion 2018: A Magical Bollywood Christmas Spectacular. The show features 200 artists in opulent costumes, high-energy dance numbers and thrilling magical illusions. This is a free event!

The Nutcracker

Snowfest in Missouri City

When: Friday, December 7, 5:30pm-9pm
What: Join us for Missouri City’s 35th Annual Snowfest! Pre-festival entertainment will kick off the event at 5:30 p.m. and will follow with the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks! From 6-9 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy the array of event activities including a 3-lane snow hill, chainsaw ice carver, inflatables, photos with Santa and much more. To support area families in need this holiday season, the Missouri City Police Department will be on-site to collect unwrapped toys for the annual Blue Santa Toy Drive. All donations can be dropped off by the Christmas tree.

Candy Cane Market

When: Saturday, December 8, 10am-5pm
What: There will be over 65 local vendors, music, food trucks, Growler USA Katy, Santa and other kids activities. This is a free event for the entire family!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Movie Party

When: Sunday, December 9, 6pm-8pm
What: Celebrate the season like an honorary Griswold! Load up the RV, and come join us for a deliriously fun interactive holiday celebration! Guests will have the full movie party treatment, complete will themed props to bring the hilarious action to life inside the theater, plus pre-movie fun and surprises. Christmas Concert By The Rosenberg Symphonic Band

When: Sunday, December 9, 5pm-7pm
What: The Rosenberg Symphonic Band provides adult musicians in the greater Fort Bend community the opportunity to play and perform some of the finest band literature available. You will get to hear some of your favorite Christmas carols and songs. Refreshments will be served afterward.
