Hail To Our Heroes

When: Saturday, May 25, 6-11pm
What: “Hail To Our Heroes” honors those that have distinguished themselves in defense of freedom. There will be live music, a silent auction, a cash bar, and dinner will be served. The event is semi-formal attire, and ticket sales will support Paws For Heroes, a nonprofit that rescues homeless dogs and professionally trains them to serve as companions for veterans suffering from PTSD, at no cost to the veteran. Advanced tickets are $40, and tickets at the door will be $50. Memorial Day Weekend Event

What: Join us for a WWII Shooting Experience ($15 per person) starting Memorial Day Weekend and going through the 75th D-Day Anniversary. You will shoot the M1 Garand, the rifle that saved the world, and the German-issued sidearm. There will be a video to watch about the history of these firearms and their involvement in the Great War.

Memorial Day Event and Cook-Out!

What: Join Republic Harley-Davidson for our Memorial Day Sidewalk Event and Cook Out! Match the VIN to win! Stop by Republic Harley-Davidson on either May 24th or 25th, and match the last six digits of your driver’s license with the last six digits of the motorcycle VIN, and win that bike! The challenge includes a one-mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats and a second one-mile run— all while wearing either a 20-pound vest or body armor.

What: Join us in honoring our fallen military service members with a special flag ceremony. Please visit the YMCA beginning on May 20th to place remembrance on a flag if you are unable to attend the ceremony, and we will gladly place the flag for you on Memorial Day.
