10th Annual Fort Bend Empty Bowls

When: Friday, April 12, 6:30-9:30pm
What: Guests of the event will be served a delicious meal of soup and bread in recognition and support of our neighbors who don’t have enough to eat. Fort Bend Empty Bowls will feature hand-painted bowls, which have been donated by local professional artist, Albert Goldreich, and other amateur artists in the area. These bowls will be available for purchase. There will also be bowl, silent and live auctions, a Wine Pull, Whiskey Pull and a Kendra Scott Jewelry Pull! Supporting Fort Bend Empty Bowls is a worthwhile investment in the lives of our Fort Bend neighbors who struggle to make ends meet. Purchase tickets here

Benefit For Webster Family

What: PGE is hosting a benefit for Mrs. Webster’s family. As many of you know, Mrs. Webster tragically passed away this past month. She is very missed by us all! Please wear red, and bring a cash donation or gift card to benefit the family.

2019 Katy Area Safety Fest

What: The Katy Area Safety Fest is a free, family-friendly festival featuring personnel, equipment and interactive activities from more than 20 emergency response agencies serving the Greater Katy community. The goal of KASF is to connect community members to the men and women who serve in these agencies, as well as provide education and resources to encourage safety preparedness.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rock Earth Day Celebration

When: Saturday, April 13, 1-5pm
What: Plan to rock with us for a great day of family fun! This year, the entertainment includes Andyroo & The Andyrooniverse and the very popular Texas Snakes & More! Approximately 30 additional exhibits will provide interactive, environmental activities that address recycling, upcycling, gardening, clean water, water conservation, tree care, clean air, nature appreciation and much more! Keep Sugar Land Beautiful will be accepting cell phones and eye glasses to be recycled at their booth, and Proshed of Houston will provide complimentary paper shredding in the City Hall Parking Lot from 2-5pm.
