What: The city’s Fourth of July celebration is taking place at The Crown Festival Park with the largest fireworks show Sugar Land has seen. Red, White, Blues & Brews Ft. Tribute To George Strait

When: Saturday, July 6th, 7-9pm
What: We had so much fun the last 2 years, we’re making it a tradition! Pack up your chairs and head to the Plaza to enjoy snacks and brews from Baker St. Pub & Grill and live country music from Tribute to George Strait to round out your Fourth of July weekend! Having spent time at the Grand Ole Opry, Derek Spence shared the stage with folks including Shania Twain, Diamond Rio, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, and Restless Heart. Not only does he sing George’s tunes, he looks like him, too! This is going to be a concert, sponsored by Sewell Audi Sugar Land, you won’t want to miss. (Note: This will not include a firework ceremony, only live entertainment. The band will begin at 7:30 p.m.)

Kidpendence Day

When: Thursday, July 4, 10am-6pm
What: Before rockets glare and fireworks are in the air, join Captain America and Lady Liberty as you exercise your right to be a kid as long as possible with some good ole American fun! The stars and stripes will be in full effect as we celebrate our country’s 243rd birthday at the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center! Independence Day

When: Thursday, July 4, 6-9pm
What: Celebrate America’s birthday in the colors red, white and blue at the Sports Complex. No ticket is required to access the event. There will be a live band, attractions for kids (a $10 wristband is required) and food trucks. FREE SHUTTLE BUS AND PARKING LOCATIONS:

Meadows Place 4th of July Parade

When: Thursday, July 4, 9am
What: Line up begins at Sugar Grove Church of Christ’s east parking lot, 11600 W Airport. Enter from W Airport ONLY, and check in with a parade official. Cars not participating in the parade may park in the west lot. Parade route travels from City Hall to Dorrance to Mullholland, left on Mullholland then left on Brighton concluding at McGrath Park. Join us at McGrath Park after the parade ends for more July 4th fun, and listen to the sounds of a live band, food trucks, snow cones and splash pad fun. Concessions are available for a nominal fee. Bike riders are a big part of the 4th of July Parade. No entry form is required, just show your patriotic spirit by decorating your bike, and join the parade in the parking lot of Sugar Grove Church at 8 a.m. SHARP for judging.

4th of July Neighborhood BBQ

When: Thursday, July 4, 4-6pm
What: You’re invited to celebrate the 4th of July this year on the lawn at Faith Fellowship Church at our Neighborhood BBQ! There will be inflatable moon bounces and games for kids, corn hole and ladder ball for adults and plenty of smoked pork butt and burgers to go around!

4th of July Celebration

When: Thursday, July 4, 6-9:30pm
What: Join us for Missouri City’s annual 4th of July Celebration! Celebrate the holiday with a variety of entertainment, activities and tasty treats! Seating is available in the Thurgood Marshall High School stadium. Sit back, relax, and watch the spectacular H-E-B Fireworks Show beginning at 9:15 p.m. Event parking around Thurgood Marshall High School will be limited, and taking advantage of Houston METRO shuttles at the Park & Ride location (13849 Fondren Rd) is highly encouraged. Metro buses will be running from 5:45 p.m. until the conclusion of the event. These shuttles are FREE and offer a close drop off to the event location.

Family 4th Celebration

When: Thursday, July 4, 6-10pm
What: It’s all about patriotism, family and fun each July 4th when Rosenberg hosts the Family 4th Celebration at Seabourne Creek Nature Park. This FREE event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Kids Zone will have inflatable bounce houses and activities galore. There will be face painting, along with horse-drawn wagon rides through the Nature Park. Food vendors will be lined up selling cold treats and patriotic eats. Steel Country is this year’s band and will perform on the main stage from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. They will be playing a variety of rock and country music that will keep you moving and grooving. The much anticipated firework show will end the evening. You will not want to miss the spectacular twenty-minute show! We encourage you to come early for the best spots. Don’t forget to bring your blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray!

Red, White & Blue Event

When: Now-July 4th
What: In observance of July 4th, and out of a big desire to get our all-star pets adopted, we’re running a special at our shelter from NOW until the end of the holiday! Any animal with red, white or blue coloring in their coat (even if it’s just a small patch) can be adopted for just $4! This fee includes spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations and a microchip. (Our shelter will be open for adoptions on July 4th from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.)

Annual Harvest Green 4th of July Block Party

What: Bring your lawn chairs and sunglasses, and come spend a day with your family and ours! There will be games, a photo booth, fireworks and more! Cover is $5.00, and kids 3 and under are free! 50% of cover proceeds will be donated to Child Advocates of Fort Bend County. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be available. Entertainment by Gabe Montoya will be from 7:30-11:30 p.m.

July 4th Bash Presented By Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus

When: Thursday, July 4, 5-9:30pm
What: Join us for our annual July 4th celebration! 104.1 KRBE is our radio partner for this festive evening that includes live music by Velvet Punch and Darwin Macon Band, an interactive kids zone and food and drink for purchase from several of our restaurants. The evening wraps up with a spectacular 20-minute firework show beginning at 9:15 p.m. Parking: Garage parking will be available on-site, but this is a high-traffic event so it fills up quickly. There will be additional event parking at Cinco Ranch High School, Cinco Ranch Junior High and Cinco Ranch Library. Parking is FREE. Please note: We invite you to bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but please refrain from bringing fireworks, outside alcohol, glass containers, tents or large umbrellas.
